Menorah lectern

Ash, Walnut and stainless steel
1400 x 1125 x 820 mm

Menorah is a contemporary bespoke lectern designed and made for the new building at Cheshire Reform Synagogue, also known as Menorah Synagogue. The Menorah is the seven-branched candelabra and this idea was echoed in the final design with vertical Walnut sections. A large section of the Synagogue panelling was in Ash with fittings in stainless steel. Ash was therefore chosen to be the dominant material, with brushed stainless steel used to accentuate the main “candle”. The rear features two small cupboards and a pull out step to allow younger children to read at a comfortable height.
